Former President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled the Saraki household over the passing of Chief (Mrs) Florence Morenike Saraki, the mom of Senator Bukola Saraki, the president of the eighth Nationwide Meeting, and former Minister of State, Transportation and later Stable Minerals Improvement, Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyat Saraki.
The previous president, in an announcement by his media aide, Garba Shehu, mentioned “I’m saddened by the demise of Chief Florence Saraki, a robust pillar of the Saraki dynasty and a mom firmly dedicated to household values and the welfare of the much less privileged.
“The dedication and resilience she had proven as she supported the household following the demise of the patriarch, Senator Abubakar Olusola Saraki, the Waziri of Ilorin is praiseworthy.”
The previous president additional described the matriarch of the Sarakis as “a hardworking and people-friendly neighborhood chief whose kindness and thoughtfulness in direction of others is an inspiration,” saying the deceased “can be sorely missed by many in Kwara State and on the centre.”
“My ideas and prayers are with the previous senate president and my noteworthy minister, for whom their mom meant a lot. Could her soul relaxation in peace.”
