Ode to Earth
No satire can contact your soil,
No mocking phrases can soil your grace,
For each mountain, each tree,
Speaks of your timeless, light face.
From oceans deep to skies untold,
You cradle life in arms of gold,
Every daybreak you paint with hues of fireside,
Every night time you calm with the celebrities’ want.
You feed us, dress us, quench our thirst,
In each bloom, in each burst,
Of nature’s dance, so pure, so grand,
A love that flows out of your wealthy land.
Although males might tear and take and burn,
You heal, you rise, you continue to return.
No satire might describe your value,
For all I see is reward for Earth.
