A former Senator who represented Kwara South on the Nationwide Meeting between 2015 and 2019, Dr Rafiu Ibrahim is useless.
The previous lawmaker died within the early hours of Wednesday after a short sickness.
The passage of Ibrahim was confirmed by his household by a press release signed by his aide, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir.
”It’s with a heavy coronary heart that we announce the passing of our beloved father, uncle, and brother, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim.
“Senator Rafiu returned to his creator this morning, forsaking a legacy of dedication, service, and profound impression.
“We kindly request your prayers and assist throughout this tough time. His burial preparations will likely be communicated in the end.
“We pray Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Al-jannah Firdaus. Ameen,” the assertion stated.
One other assertion from the previous press secretary to former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Alh Wahab Oba stated the corpse of Ibrahim will arrive on the Ilorin Worldwide Airport by 12noon whereas his stays will likely be interred on the Muslims Cemetery, Osere, Ilorin by 2.00 pm.
In the meantime, the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stated he obtained with shock and profound disappointment reviews of the loss of life of Senator Ibrahim.
The governor in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye condoled with the household of the late lawmaker, the folks of Ojoku in Oyun Native Authorities Space, and the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP).
“This stunning growth once more reminds everybody of the inevitability of loss of life for all human beings, and the truth that it might come unannounced for anybody.
“Governor AbdulRazaq prays to Allah to confess the senator to al-Jannah Firdaus and provides consolation to his relations, political associates, and followers,” the assertion added.
