Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria on Tuesday night after representing President Bola Tinubu on the just-concluded Worldwide Growth Affiliation (IDA21) Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
On arrival on the Nnamdi Azikiwe Worldwide Airport, Abuja, the Vice President met behind closed-doors with the US Deputy Secretary, Kurt Campbell, and his staff.
Based on a press release by his spokesman, Stanley Nwocha, amongst points mentioned on the assembly have been safety, bilateral relations, shared visions, technological cooperations, financial and mutual partnership.
Each nations pledged to work extra on deepening their bilateral relationships and their connectivity.
Deputy Secretary Campbell has been in Nigeria, the place he was the co-chair of the sixth US-Nigeria Binational Fee (BNC) with Nigaria’s Overseas Affairs Minister, Yusuf Tuggar.
