Canopius Group, the worldwide insurer and reinsurer with operations in Bermuda, has appointed Andy Haste as its new group chairman with impact from July 1.
Mr Haste’s former roles embody group chief government of RSA Insurance coverage Group, and CEO at AxA Solar Life, in addition to serving as senior impartial director and deputy chairman of Lloyd’s between 2012 and 2021.
He at present chairs the board of Esure Group PLC.
Mr Haste will take over from present Canopius Group chairman Michael Watson, who will stand down however proceed to help Canopius in an advisory capability.
