The Kano State Home of Meeting has handed into legislation the Kano state Emirate Council Legislation (modification 2) into legislation, dissolving all of the 5 Emirates within the state.
This was sequel to deliberations on the ground of the Home throughout plenary presided over by the Speaker, Hon. Ismail Falgore throughout Thursday’s sitting.
The Kano State Emirate Council Modification Invoice was thought of on the ground of the Home after scaling second and third studying.
Earlier the deputy speaker, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Butu defined that repealing the legislation would revive the misplaced glory of Kano, noting that dividing Kano Emirate to 5 hasreduced the capability and dignity of the state at nationwide stage.
