Is it the defeat of your wishes,
Or the spell of wasted goals,
The disarray of life,
Or a phrase of mourning
For the period of present & bygone
And for the presence of people!
Or a blow to your striving and can,
Or the title of expressing that cowardice
Which you don’t acknowledge?
What’s “if solely” to the failed coronary heart?
Let this sigh ignite a ardour,
Let it freshen each wound as soon as extra,
And freshness is the title of pleasure.
