Markel, the insurance coverage operations inside Markel Group Inc, has appointed Jamie Carsey as chief claims officer to supervise US and Bermuda claims operations throughout the firm’s Specialty division.
Ms Carsey joined Markel in 2017 and has held varied positions throughout the firm, most not too long ago as senior managing director, Claims – authorized and head of litigation.
“Jamie brings intensive expertise, information and management that can be instrumental in persevering with to strengthen our claims operations alongside enhancing our threat administration, compliance, know-how and knowledge efforts,” stated Alex Martin, the president of Markel Specialty.
