A gaggle underneath the auspices, Northern Youth Frontiers have condemned name by the Home of Representatives’ decision to sack the Managing Director of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Authority (NMDPRA), Farouk Ahmed, over alleged ‘unguarded feedback’ on native refineries.
The group described the transfer as “desperation and blatant bias.”
At a press convention in Abuja, yesterday, NorthWest Coordinator of the Group, Amb Abdul Usman known as on the Home of Reps to retract its decision and uphold equity.
“For steadiness, the Home of Reps also needs to completely examine how, for the reason that period of President Obasanjo, Dangote has been the one investor shopping for off all of the accessible Black Oil in Nigerian refineries, shutting out his rivals, thereby manipulating all the pieces.”
Amb Usman within the assertion demanded safety for whistleblowers and business regulators who dare to talk reality to energy.
“Nigerians deserve higher. We won’t stand idly by whereas our lawmakers perpetuate injustice and enthrone monopoly,” he stated.
