Customs Intercepts Explosives In Kebbi


A border patrol staff of Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Nigerian Immigration Service, Division of State Service and Nigerian Military led by chief superintendent of customs, A.A. Ibrahim, now assistant comptroller of Customs hooked up alongside Yauri- Jega Street in Kebbi State have intercepted 40 cartons and sacks containing 6,240 items of cap suspected to be delicate dynamite explosives.

Briefing newsmen yesterday over the event in his workplace in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital,  the customs space comptroller within the state,  Iheanacho Ernest Ojike, stated after an examination was performed by the joint personnel the suspected gadgets have been discovered to include 40 cartons and sacks totalling 6,240 items of cap delicate dynamite explosives (Tremendous Energy 90) which have been loaded on white Canter/ truck with registration quantity Zur 882ZY along with a Haejue motorbike quantity JEG-562 UQ.

The comptroller stated two suspects have been arrested and detained by Customs Command in Birnin Kebbi and the seized gadgets have been handed over to the division of state service officers.
