A 46-year-old Friday Nwafor, was on Wednesday arrested by the officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Security Corps (LNSC) for allegedly vandalising the highway gentle indicators on the newly renovated Third Mainland Bridge.
Jubril Gawat, a senior particular assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu confirmed this on his verified official X deal with (previously Twitter), stating that Nwafor was arrested on Tuesday and instantly handed over to the police.
Gawat acknowledged, “Tuesday, Might eighth, 2024, officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Security Corps (LNSC) apprehended a highway infrastructure vandal who was vandalising the newly constructed third Mainland Bridge highway gentle indicators.
“The suspect was recognized as Mr Friday Nwafor, a 46-year-old male resident of Lagos who was instantly taken into our custody and handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Mr Adegoke Fayoade.”
