The Lagos State Police Command, on Tuesday, arrested controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly generally known as Moveable, for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he bought G-Wagon from a automobile seller within the state.
It was gathered that Moveable, through the buy of the car value N27m, paid solely N13m and had refused to pay the N14m steadiness on the pretext that the automobile was defective.
In response to a report by PunchOnline, it was learnt that each time the automobile seller contacted him to pay the steadiness, he normally claimed that the car was unhealthy.
The automobile seller consequently reported the matter to the police and policemen detailed to research the case arrested Moveable.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that Moveable had been arrested.
“Sure, Moveable has been arrested. He purchased G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the remainder, claiming the car was unhealthy. We arrested him immediately,” SP Hundeyin acknowledged.
