Troops Repel Assault, Rescue 2 Victims In Benue


Troops of Nigerian Military and Volunteer Guards have repelled a kidnap try, and rescued two victims in Benue State.

The Nigerian Military disclosed this on Monday by its official X deal with (previously Twitter), saying the troops, responding to a misery name, raided the enclave of suspected kidnap gang in Tsede Village, alongside Highway Tor Donga Takum in Katsina-Ala native authorities space of Benue State.

 

The hoodlums retreated and fled in disarray after troops engaged them in a shootout, forcing them to desert their captives.

Within the aftermath of the fierce encounter, the victims recognized as Chief Sano Kursi and Augustine Sada had been rescued unhurt.

The assertion added that the rescued kidnap victims have since reunited with their households.
